Is my donation tax-exempt?
Yes. Surya Uday Charitable Trust is registered under the Income Tax Act with 80G certification. All eligible donors can claim a tax deduction on their contribution. Please share your PAN number when donating to receive the tax exemption certificate.
How do I confirm my donation was received?
After any bank transfer or UPI payment, please WhatsApp the transaction screenshot to +91-9816900199 or +91-9816708195. We will send an official receipt and acknowledgment within 48 hours.
Can I donate monthly or set up a recurring gift?
Yes. Many of our donors give monthly by setting up a standing instruction from their bank, or by scheduling a recurring UPI transfer. Monthly donors are the backbone of our operations — your consistent support lets us plan ahead for the children.
Can I donate in kind — equipment, materials, or services?
Absolutely. We welcome donations of sports equipment, educational materials, craft supplies, medical equipment, and food items. Please call or WhatsApp us before sending so we can coordinate the best way to receive and use your contribution.
Can I sponsor a specific child or program?
Yes. We offer program-specific sponsorship — you can direct your donation to a particular program (sports, education, vocational training) or sponsor a child's annual education. Contact us directly and we will arrange a tailored giving plan.
Can international donors contribute?
Yes. International donors can contribute via wire transfer using the bank details provided. Please contact us at suryauday21@gmail.com to confirm SWIFT details and ensure compliance with FCRA regulations for foreign contributions.
